I recently bought a new printer and wanted to test its borderless printing capabilities. So I wrote a small VBA script that creates an A4 MS Word document with four rulers, each starting at one of the four borders:
.
In case you're interested in the source code, I put in on github.
The PDF can be downloaded from here (http://renenyffenegger.ch/blog/files/a4-ruler.pdf).
Thank you for the useful PDF. From time to time I need something like this for photos to roughly show the size of objects, similar to having a ruler in the photo. Are you OK for me using it every once in a while in email correspondence with clients? I do understand the accuracy is not guaranteed at all and depends on the printer as well.
ReplyDeleteI don't need high accuracy, more order of magnitude. For interest sake, I'm also looking for something like this with gridlines.
